S.T.E.A.M Animal Allies Mobile Farm

28/3/2018

Year 6 students have been investigating, researching and evaluating how interactions with animals and humans occur and how they can be improved. By learning about the differences between animals, the interactions we have with them, interactions that occur between species of animals and also problems and solutions to human activity.

Students have designed oil spill cleanup machines and programmed robots to carry out a variety of tasks to help animals in different situations. Lynn from Rainbow Animal Farms came to Charles Campbell College on Thursday the 22nd of March to demonstrate interactions and talk about ecological relationships with students. Students were also given the opportunity to interact with the animals themselves and demonstrated their new knowledge.
