Years 10 to 12
At Charles Campbell College, our senior students are recognised as young adults. They are supported to develop skills in responsibility and autonomy – we encourage them to take ownership of their own learning – and our encouraged to model the schools values of respect, learning and excellence.
Our senior school home groups are located in the ‘A building’ along with the Head of Senior School, Year Level Mangers, counsellors and senior school coordinators. This creates a very real sense of community, with support for our students literally at their fingertips.
Year 11 and 12 students have a flexible timetable with time set aside on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for private study. Year 12 students also enjoy the privilege of a dedicated common room for their use during study periods.
Senior School Success
Students enjoy a range of successes at Charles Campbell College. Our SACE completion rate has improved by 14% over the past 2 years, indicating that we are providing strong, meaningful and successful pathways through school for more and more students each year.
In 2013, 4 students achieved merits in one or more of their subjects, with over a quarter of our students achieving an ATAR result of over 80, including our highest ATAR of 99.85.
90% of our students who applied for tertiary admission (University or TAFE) were offered a place to start this year.
