In the middle of term 2 we celebrated Reconciliation Week which is a time for us to learn more about the richness of the Aboriginal culture and share with each other the meaning of reconciliation.
The theme for this year was "Our History, Our Story, Our Future", so with this in mind our receptions-yr 4 students participated in art lessons creating their own design using Aboriginal symbols and dot painting to showcase their individual style of work.
We have a number of artists who were happy to showcase their work.
We are hoping to place the tiles around the school for all to enjoy once they are varnished.
