VET Immersion & Try-a-Trade
Try-a-Trade days offer students the opportunity to participate in a day program and gain experience with hands-on activities. These Try-a-Trade days aim to assist students to make informed decisions about career pathways as well as help students fulfill the VET readiness (VETRO) requirements by supplying a certificate of participation. A VET Immersion or Try-a-Trade participation certificate will fulfill the 'VET Evidence' requirement of a future VET application of the same industry pathway.
Charles Campbell College offers four VET Try-a-Trade days onsite in Term 2, for the Automotive, Construction, Electrotechnology and Engineering trades. These Immersion days are perfect for students looking to pursue a VET course in Year 11 or 12 or for students who want to learn more about a particular industry pathway.

Each year, Charles Campbell College offers immersive, industry-focused experiences in Automotive, Construction, Electrotechnology, and Engineering. These opportunities allow students to engage directly with industry standard tools, environments, and practices—helping them make informed career choices and contributing to the VET evidence required for a VET application.
