The Performing Arts Academy at Charles Campbell College prides itself on excellence in the Arts and is widely recognised for its innovative and applied approach in the delivery of a specialised performing arts program. Our industry experienced Arts team is committed to the development and implementation of a unique and rigorous Arts curriculum.
Students who are selected to join our Academy will have the opportunity to experience approximately 1000 hours of instruction time across their chosen performing arts disciplines.
Registration of Interest Select the link below to register your interest in the Performing Arts Academy. Complete the Registration of Interest from and return it to the school. Following receipt of the completed form, students may be invited to participate in the Audition.
Audition Applicants participate in an Audition which consists of two parts: a performance and and interview
Performance Music: Applicants are to perform a prepared piece on the instrument of their choice (including voice). Applicants are requested to bring their own instrument (if applicable) or a backing track on USB (if required) and copies of their music. Drama: Applicants will be asked to perform a cold reading of a script that will be given to them on the day. They will also be led through improvisation activities. Dance: Applicants will be taken through a contemporary dance class.
Interview Applicants will meet with the Arts teachers to discuss their interest, experience and commitment to the Performing Arts.
Performing Arts Academy Cost Costs may be incurred which are not covered by normal school fees when students participate in excursions and/or performances.
