The Performing Arts Academy at Charles Campbell College prides itself in valuing the Arts and is recognised for its innovative and applied approach in the delivery of a specialised performing arts program. Our industry experienced Arts team is committed to the implementation and development of a unique Arts curriculum. At the heart of all performing Arts activities and programs is the inclusion and promotion of the following core values: Respect, Excellence and Learning.
Students will have the opportunity to perform in our school performances and in the community, professional venues and events. To achieve and sustain a career in the Arts, it is essential that all students are multi-skilled and it is for this reason, our mainstream courses are structured to provide flexibility through a range of Arts experiences.

Audition Auditions will be held twice a year and will consist of two parts: a performance and an interview. Performance Applicants are asked to present three pieces, one for each performing arts area: Dance, Drama and Music. Students are requested to bring their own instrument (if applicable) or a backing track and copies of their music. They will also be required to bring a change of clothes. Interview Applicants are advised to bring a portfolio that includes:
Most recent reports from their current school
Reference from a performing arts teacher (if possible)
Any other information that highlights their interest and commitment to the Performing Arts
Participation in the Performing Arts Academy will incur an additional fee of $150 per year to cover expenses including exclusive access to:
excursion to see a professional production
incursion by a visiting professional or company
Academy T-shirt or polo with the Academy logo
Access to professional resources

Applications Due: Please complete the Expression of Interest form. Once we have received this, you will be emailed an official Application and further audition information.
