Reception:
If your child turns 5 years old before 1 May they will be able to start school at the beginning of the school year. The South Australian Government has changed school entry eligibility and now has the “Same First Day” Policy. This means all children who turn 5 before 1 May start school at the beginning of the school year.
At Charles Campbell College we provide an extensive reception transition program in Term 4. This program is designed to ensure a seamless transition from preschool to school for your child and family. We work closely with you and your child and previous educators from kindergarten or childcare to ensure that school experiences are positive and smooth. We organise for visits in Term 4 so you can experience what it is like to be in class with your child, get to know the teachers, discover our learning program and make new friends with other families.
Years R - 6:
Enrolments are available to families for whom Charles Campbell College is the provider of primary education closest to their permanent address. Consideration will be given to enrolments where the Charles Campbell College is not the student’s closest primary school, but preference is given to our local students. To initiate the enrolment process, families are required to submit a completed Registration of Interest Form, accompanied by the required documentation.
Years 7 - 12:
Charles Campbell College is zoned for secondary school enrolments. Out of zone enrolments will be considered, but enrolments for students living within the zone have preference over out of zone enrolments. To initiate the enrolment process, families are required to submit a completed Registration of Interest Form, accompanied by the required documentation.
Years 7 - 12 Selective Entry Academies:
All students seeking enrolment with Charles Campbell College (living in zone or out of zone), may seek enrolment to join either of our Selective Entry Academies:
Specific selection criteria are used to select students for each of the academies and a try-out or audition is required as part of the selection process.
The College is authorised to offer a limited number of places to students whose permanent residence is outside our Years 7-12 enrolment zone. To initiate the enrolment process, families are required to submit a completed Registration of Interest Form, accompanied by the required documentation.
