Reception - Year 6
The Junior Years has a focus on young children as capable learners whose intelligences are nurtured in many different contexts. We view each individual as having learning potential to embrace the complexities of their world.
Our curriculum is enriched by developing cultural capabilities, as an accredited CIS College. Students experience international perspectives and develop intercultural understanding through the weaving of the general capabilities and cross curriculum perspectives as outlined in the
Australian Curriculum.
Students begin their day with their Mentor Group teacher and from Reception, they experience working with additional teachers in literacy and numeracy tutorials and with student buddies from other classes.
